Creditors
I do not represent large corporate creditors or even small banks. However, if you are a trade vendor, and a customer has filed for bankruptcy relief, I am happy to provide counsel to you and represent your interests in the bankruptcy proceeding to the extent feasible. I will also offer counsel and represent your interests if a former spouse has filed a case and seeks to discharge or reduce a child support obligation.
Even some large corporate vendors have the misconception that once a debtor has filed for bankruptcy relief, the claim is over and you will never be paid a thing.
If a former spouse has filed, or if you are a trade vendor and a debtor of yours has filed for bankruptcy protection, the law is probably in favor of the debtor. But that does not necessarily mean you should give up without looking into it further.
TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! There are some specific things you can do to ensure that you will be paid to the fullest extent possible, but you must act without delay. And there are certain things you must not do in order to avoid violating federal law.
If you want to find out all that you can and cannot do, I urge you to contact me and schedule a consultation immediately.
